On January 23rd, 2002 the University held a one-day workshop on Grid Computing in the Shiloh Room of the University Center. This workshop, hosted by CITR and the CS department, was held to inform UT researchers and students about, and engage them in, some of the latest innovations in this growing research field.
Judging from the responses we've received, the Seminar and Workshop was a tremendous success. There was excellent attendance at all of the sessions and the feedback we have received has been uniformly positive. We would like to extend our thanks to the speakers, support staff, and the participants, who together helped make it a very valuable day.
